    Wade Fishing Spots

I know y'all hear this all the time but can anybody tell this TN boy where to start on some places to wade fish or fish from the bank? I am usually down there twice a year so I am familiar with the area. I just want to explore more territory this time down.

Little Lagoon Pass is good, beach side or Gulf side.
The Florida Point side of Perdido Pass is also good, reds, specs, spanish, bluefish, pompano, etc..., just a long walk out to the jetties & beach.
There is always surf fishing the gulf, whiting are almost always a sure bet and you never know what you might catch (shark, redfish, etc..) if you put some cut mullet out on bottom on a surf rod.

Thanks for the advice. I have fished right off the bank and could load a cooler full of catfish but that's it >. I am headed down 8/3 to 8/5 for a weekend getaway and looking to bring back a freezer full of fish. And you mentioned bluefish. Are they good to eat? I threw a ton back one day because a guy on the peir beside me threw his back.

A lot of people don't eat it because it has a strong flavor/odor and is very oily.
Soaking in milk and/or marinades before cooking, seem to be the predominant in recipes.
