    Van staal vr 50

    Got one in the mail today super sweet , holds 360 of twenty pound braid , I put on 15 lbs green super slick , throws like a dream , can't wait to go down there and use it !

    8 ft med custom rod I had a guy in Tennessee make , he took a 8 ft Sr Croix avid and put a split cork handle on it and silver stainless rod seats , really does awesome work !IMG_20180111_172015695.jpg

    It was done by John miles custom rods , the whole set up weight just 14 oz !

    I have a couple of freshwater rods that he built back in the mid 90's. He sold them through The Outdoor Sportsman in Athens, AL.
