In town for 2 more days.
After striking out yet again surf fishing I have today and tomorrow left to catch something to fill the grill . I've made that promise probably 10 years running now and have yet to deliver. . Anyone on the pier today that wants to help a guy out. Lol. I hit the surf with 2 rods , shrimp and sand fleas at 5:00 am this morning. I GOT NOTHING!!!

I always surf fish at the Fort Morgan area when we come down and I always have better luck with cut bait. I do pretty well with ghost shrimp when I can find them. Sand fleas don't do much for me this time of year, I don't know why. I'll be down in a couple of weeks. It will be a little later than we normally come down and I expect it to be slow. We usually take the heads from our cut bait and put on a big rod just to play with the sharks and have a lot of fun with them. Good luck and let us know how it goes...

If you are fishing for whiting, they are right on the beach. If you casted more than 10', it's too far.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
