Top Water Lures
Any recommendations for top water lures for surfcasting, not sure if they are used at all on the pier.

Re: Top Water Lures
I don't always use top-water plugs, but when I do, I prefer mirrorlures
(but it's rare that I use anything other than spoons)I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.

Re: Top Water Lures
the tsunnami 2-3oz ones from J&M, if you cant find them, just ask, i've never been there when they didn't have them, if you want to catch anything bigger than a king, i'd put on a heavier hook, if not, don't, i've caught several spanish on the thinner diameter hooks they come with, but no spanish on the jack/tuna/cobia hooks i sometimes put on there
