Titanium 7-Strand Leader Wire
any body ever use this for the wire leaders....says it's black? wondering how it would hold up to teeth, and if the black would be too noticeable

A bunch of people like it because it supposedly doesn't kink. They also say that you can tie knots in it. As far as teeth go some people from up north I have talked to say it works good for pike which is kind of a toothy fish. I haven't heard anything on mackerel. The color should not matter.

well I messed up and went for the less expensive bought then noticed it was single wire....oh well I now have 30,20,&15 on it's way....so I guess I'll be finding out....pre-made ones I have seen were way to large diameter, I hope this is comparable to the regular dia.. for the steel wire....

Saltwater fly fishers are about the only ones that use it because of the shock factor. As for pier fishing, worthless.

just came today, the 30lb and 20....which is actually rather light wire, I will see sometime how it holds up, and maybe even up here on our toothy fish....still waiting on the 15 that should be even lighter maybe for a spanish leader....who knows, I have wasted money before(like the last batch of stainless rod I got for gaff's that nobody wants anymore)....and really don't like too, but sure learn from it....still haven't messed with any of the rods needing a few things to them either....to much to do and so little time for it ....I need to go turkey hunting

I tied up some lighter leaders in the AFW 20# single strand and found it to be a PITA to tie a clinch knot with as is recommended. I most likely won't be buying it again.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
