Thread: Tips on Drilling out a 704z

Could any of you guys give me some tips and steps and the essentials on what i need to do for drilling out my 704z. I am very fond on how to do it just never done it before. So if any of yall could help me out on exactly how to do it like drill bit size, paper layout to drill on, all that. Also i want to sand it down to silver to look kind of like a staal. If you have any thing that could help me i would appreciate it. Thank You.

The best tip I can give you for drilling out a 704 is, don't do it.

Just curious: Why would you want to drill it out?

The thought of drilling them out is it helps get sand out of the rotor when surf fishing. The problem with drilling out a z series penn is that they are cast metal which doesn't do so well when drilled, not to mention you will weaken the over all structure of the rotor by removing material.
