Time to Move On
Only 35 more days and I will have my 25 years in with the State. I’m “retiring” and taking a job in Tampa with a big consulting firm.
So with packing, fixing up the house and moving, odds are I’ll not make it back down the GSPP before I move on mid-May.
Kinda sad, I’ve been fishing the pier off and on for 30 years. I’ll definitely miss the most friendly pier on the Gulf and the forum friends I’ve made.
I’ll still stay on the Forum though. I’ll post up some reports from the Fort DeSoto and Sunshine Bridge Piers once I get settled in. Hope to catch my first snook and tarpon this summer!
Yall keep them coming over the rail!Carl

Sorry to see you go Carl.
You really should make it a point to go to the pier picnic as a going away...(RETIRED) mostly.

Carl, I enjoyed meeting you, too, and reading your "official" info shared from time to time. Hope all goes well.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
