Thanks
I also want to thank the Locals and all others for sharing your pier with us out of towner's ....I had a blast, slow at first for the month but it finally turned on for a few moments like I was hoping for, and brought back some groceries to share with friends with a few fish fries
.
I especially want to thank John and J&M tackle for sending me back with a real gem of a rod....all hidden under the ugly green paint was a beautiful rod that John brought back to life..... for the rest of my life....what a treasure it is and loved fishing it and getting use to it....darn thing cast great and fish;s even better with many species caught and hooked ....the 706 with drag problems were solved and preformed well also....love the combo of the 2
I learned many things this trip ....in a month I learned many new tips and tricks(new techniques of doing things)
I can say this trip was sooooooo stress free for me, I came home with a sense of calm, I haven't felt for many years....and hope that stays with me for some time, I know the memories will
so to all that shared the rail with me .... THANKS
till the next timeBill..............

Thanks for sharing the photos. I enjoy seeing old, undiscovered gems get revitalized. I as well have enjoyed my times there at the GSPpier. I hated to have to leave but have another son, have to travel back and forth between Bama & Nv.(Vegas that is). The weather is great here for the moment. Home is in Mo. for now, but when I finish my 5 yr travel plan, I will be a more permanent fixture there on the pier. Best of luck with the red meat gathering! Hope to see you all this spring! Steve

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
