Tell me about using artificial on the pier
Ok guys and gals. tell me what kind of artificial i need to take on the pier with me. there any magic catch anything jigs, plugs? spoons? etc. I have several topwater lures, some gotchas, about 15 lb worth of spoons lol everything from 1/4 oz lil cleo's to 2 oz flex it spoons. what should i shove into my tackle bag? I am not awfully picky on targeting a specific species. Ill be happy as long as i can just keep my rod doubled over

You can catch anything that swims with jigs
Give a googan a king, and he can eat for a day. But teach a googan how to kingfish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years

White hair jigs most universal, also orange, tan, blue, variety of sizes from 1/32 up to 4 ounce with multiple style heads, spoons also very universal
For one bait for anything I'd take a white spearhead in about 1/2 ounceGive a googan a king, and he can eat for a day. But teach a googan how to kingfish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years

Gotcha Plugs, 1oz, in Chrome or Pink
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
