Talking'bout Ice Fishing, See This Monster

usa, CJW and gravyman like this.

Never, under any circumstances, ever become a refugee.
Die if you must, but die on your home turf with your face to the wind, not in some stinking hellhole 2,000 kilometers away, among people you neither know nor care about.

Not ice fishing, but my only cold weather fishing experience. My Uncle Steve took me fishing in Manitoba when I was a junior in high school. This was the first fish I caught -- pretty spoiled. Sorry for the picture-of-a-picture glare.

Nice fish there Pierless, it catches like that that make lifelong fishing addicts.

The look on that guy's face is priceless!
He is awestruck at what he just pulled out of that hole.

What a great video, that ice is so thick, I was scared to death the line was going to get cut on the botton of the hole.
