Why, fishing under corks, of course.

You may have mentioned it, but I would add an assortment of soft plastics; pearl, white, fluke-type baits. I like the split tails rather than the paddle tails. I have killed the spanish on those from time to time, but this year they didn't seem quite as good as in the past for some reason. Also, one or two hard plastic minnow-type lures....pescador called them CRANK baits but lots of people call them JERK baits. :) Crank or jerk, sometimes the fish hit those better than anything. I stick some plastic ziplock backs in and a couple of trash bags to wrap up the tackle if it rains. But my tackle bag is bigger than most suitcases and still too small. :D
Looks like you know what you're doing. Might I include a towel for fish slime/blood. Sunscreen too, cannot stress the importance of that. I had to go to the dermatologist yesterday. never thought at 27 years old I would have a biopsy on a spot on my face.
Try having one at 15 and it coming back positive for skin cancer.
Also add #10, 8, , and six trebles.
This is a timely post for me. I am learning how to be a better saltwater fisherman and am slowly acquiring tackle. My problem is organization. I can't seem to choose a good way to organize all of the various types of tackle. Do you organize by species? or seperate by tackle type? Should you put it all in a big box, or seperate it into smaller tackle boxes? If I was on the pier all of the time I would think to put it all in a big box. But since I want to fish pier, surf, the bay, jetty etc. not sure whats best. Also, any suggestions on tackle storage box types would help too.....I'M SOOO CONFUSED!!
For both SW/FW, I've one box of assorted terminal tackle, tools, line/leader and misc crap, the second box is full of lures, ready made leaders, and more misc crap.
I do try to keep things minimal and specific to the species I normally target and fairly organized.
Does J & M have a "starter set" of tackle, hooks, etc. which would include the previously mentioned gear? Maybe something targeted for pier and one for surf? I know I would be interested in buying something like that. Especially if it packaged in a organized tackle box or something like that.
