I went to the pier about 3:30 and the gate was closed. I know that based on tide stage, temperature, wind direction, moon phase and karma that I would have limited out on specs, reds and pompano in the shallows. Maybe tomorrow.

Yep, a kindred spirit and myself were unloading at 1pm yesterday ready to slay them when we were turned away. Going to try again today at some point. Anyone else going?

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
