    Surf Rod Question?

Can someone recommend a good surf rod with specs similar to this?

    1) 8 ft long because it is a littler easier to maneuver around the condo.
    2) heavy enough action to throw 1-4 oz sinkers.
    3) 2 piece so I can break it down for travel.

I will only be using it for couple weeks each year.

    Thanks

Ugly stick with a reel on Gunbroker cheaper than the rod by itself. 3/4-3oz lure. 10-25lb line.

IMHO most 8 foot surf rods are rated a little lighter than what you describe (1-2 oz).
If you step up to a 9 foot you should get the 1-4 oz range you asked for.
