Surf Fishing and Relaxing
We will be down for a week in July, we will be renting a house on the beach in Gulf Shores. I plan to relax and do a little surf fishing in front of the rental.
Question: If I am fishing, in my beach chair and discreetly enjoying a cold adult beverage, will this be frowned upon? By discreet, I mean in a cup or hugger, well hidden, no flashing or no litter.

The alcohol ban on the beach ended April 17th. Glass containers of any kind are still prohibited. So, grab a rod, chair and cold one and just chill and fish.

Not a problem, just refrain from glass bottles. Broken glass, sand, water and bare feet is not a good combination.

Thanks for the info, guys. Glass on the beach is pretty much a no-brainer, but we all know there a lot of no brainers around.

I know here in North Carolina at most beaches, the lifeguards use binoculars to spot alcohol users on the beach.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
