surf fishing near the beach club
I am coming down tonight to stay at the beach club. want to do some surf fishing. it looks like that is bon secour bay? any suggestions. i have surf rods. looking for help with bait. i have never been to this area before. Thanks!

The Beach Club (resort) is on the Gulf of Mexico side.

welcome to the forum and the beach @ God's Country!
If you take the boardwalk out to the beach and go west you can find a stretch that will have fewer people in the water.
Suggest fresh using live or fresh dead shrimp on surf tackle 'set rigs'.
Tides may be low enough in the evenings to slurp some beach ghost shrimp for bait as well.
IF your tackle is light enough to cast 7 retrieve then a bubble rig is a viable artificial lure to throw.
Use the search feature to find any of those items mentioned you may not be familiar with...

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
