Surf Fishing
What fish are biting in the surf this time of the year? How are you catching them?

A couple of weeks back, the whiting and pompano were biting like crazy during the evening. Small fresh shrimp chunks, carolina rig with #4 baitholder, 1/4 oz egg sinker.

Yesterday I threw a jig, small x-rap, 1/2 & 3/4 oz. kastmasters, got a lot of ladyfish and bluefish and a stingray. The trout would not bite and I guess they wanted live bait?
