Surf fish
So has anyone been catching any blues, hardtails, lady fish, etc.
I checked fishing reports and it seems maybe no one cares about them or it really is just king macks and Spanish biting. TIA.

I saw some whiting, think a spec caught in the shallows. They were caught withing reach of surf poles. I saw one guy surf fishing early Easter morning but not sure how well he did. I didn't see him catch anything.

Little early yet, mainly pompano/whiting based on the reports.

Bluefish have been AWOL for a while.
But they are VERY cyclical and I just attribute their recent absence to that.
It is still a little early for ladyfish and blue runner as they are true tropical coastal pelagics.
They should be some arriving any time now, but they prefer water above 75 degrees (and it's only 72 or so).

Yall come. It will be fun.Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
