Striped Bass Perdido Pass
Anyone know that story about that Striper being speared by the Alabama Point Jetties?

I dont know it haha. I was asking around to find more info lol., i just saw a pic on FB of Orange Beach Community Posted that someone had speared a striper, of fairly large size right by the jetties. They were diving.

Chris Vecsey took the photo Sunday of a guy that waved him down who had speared a large striped bass near the bottom while hunting the jetties in Perdido Pass.

diving by those jetties with the current and all that boat traffic? Not too smart IMO.

I thought a diver had to be rescued there last year, something to do with the current.

it happens from time to time no matter where you dive. just have to time your dive with the change of the tides if your not experienced with diving in current. it is a great place to shoot flounder at night even got a legal trigger off a bridge piling one night.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
