    Storm acomin'

Looks like we'll have some big swells coming our way next week. Hope that's all it amounts to. I don't like the projected "hook" pattern some of the models show.

Fin, you and Bubba ought to get together and do something about it---after all, you are our leaders on here. I would ask Pier#r for help, but he's a retired pro, now. I did my part and kept them away last year, so it's your turn.

Don't worry Haywire, that is just a JV System and we have no strategy to address it. If a lot of people complain about being concerned about it, we will run in circles screaming, go away storm! That ought to do it.

We could ask John Kerry to apologize to it and then it will leave us alone. Problem solved.

    Here's my contribution...

    ;-)

I get a kick out of seeing some of these model solutions about a system that hasn't even formed (and has a 7 out of 10 chance that it will NOT ;-)

Marine forecast shows ONLY Sunday with 2-3ft seas, then back to 1-2ft.

    Hope so!

We need something to get excited about. It sure ain't the fishing right now.

I did get a little bit excited this morning when a yellow jacket came buzzing around under my hat brim while I was on the tractor, but he was by himself and went on his way.

If Bubba and FinChaser have this one under control, I'll sleep peacefully and whistle as I tread life's rocky path.

I wait until dark to bushog this time of year. I can usually outrun the yellow jackets but the ground hornets and bumblebees will be more persistent. I started spraying glyphosate on my plots the end of June and again mid August and that keeps the bushogging to a minimum.
