Thread: Status of Rick

Last word I hear is that is was in the hospital again and fighting for his life. Please let know how he is as he is a friend of mind.

Wonder if we could get the Pier to keep up a contact list of Pier regulars so we could find out who to call and check on somebody? Praying that He comes out OK missing too many regulars the past couple years.

Update: spoke with Rick wednesday. Had his kemo on Tuesday. His checkup revealed that the Tumor in his Pancrease is shrinking. All other tests normal. 155 pounds right now. He knows and feels your prayers. His wife has been a hero during his fight. I wont risk going to his home. Heaven forbid I gave him something. Rick is a fighter. We know how he can stand the rail for hours. That bulldog determination Carrie's him along. I truly believe he will win this fight. Had fluid on his stomach. Going to get it taken care of but otherwise he's weak but determined to live.
