specks in the river
ive never gotton to go speck fishing in the river but im goin to this year and i was wondering when do the specks start moving into the rivers and which rivers. ive heard fish and dog are good. i was also wondering what kind of lures are the best and where are good places by land

[font=comic sans ms][size=12pt]I haven’t fished it in 20 years, but Fowl River around Bellengrath used to be pretty good. I don’t know about now though.

I've caught them in fish river throughout the year, but have done much better during the winter. They're in there now, I've been hearing reports. Zoom fluke jr works well, gulp new penny/nucleaur chicken. I'm sure live bait would work too. Last year, the colder it was the slower you had to work your bait.
