    This is how they feed at night at the pier when I'm NOT THERE. Looks like they are feeding on glass minnows.

    I had always guessed that the flash of white/light/bright when they ate was them rolling on their sides (showing their belly), but it looks like it's coming off their sides and gill plates. Sure would like to see a super slo-mo of those flashes.

    People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.

    If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

    I have done great with a lure that imitates a glass minnow under the lights and caught some quite large specks. Most nights produce a limit of keepers in a couple of hours......In fact I had baked specks for dinner out of my freezer. They were caught at night on that lure. Looks like my secret is getting out...

    I feel like one of those minnows when I am at work.
