    Spanish Help :)

I'll be tagging along to G.S. next week, as my wife has a business trip. I plan to spend the week pier fishing. Late last summer the spanish were running at the end of the State Park Pier around 4:00-6:00 A.M. Is this still the best time to hit the pier? Also, are the bubble rigs effective this time of year? Thanks!

I've normally found the best Spanish bite to be around sunup to mid-morning and then mid to late afternoon.

You are getting a little too eager You don't have to get there at 4AM Doesn't get really good light now until 6:15 - 6:30 If you are fishing by 6AM you'll do fine Last two morning I have fished I limited from 6:30 to 8 and 6:30 to 8:30 mostly on bubbles rigs The afternoon bite has been hot too You'll be fine and should catch your fill Good luck
