So I got myself a shimano Calcutta 700b
Now I need myself a good casting rod.
This 6' penn slammer boat rod just ain't cutting it.

Go to J&M. He just got in some new rods a couple of weeks ago that he is selling for around $45(if you don't want to break the bank). He has a couple different lengths I think. I have the 8 ft one and it can sling a cig a mile, as well as heavy lures(have a 2 1/2 Yo-Zuri plug it can sling a mile as well). Rated for 15-25# line. Great rod for the price. Too lazy to get up to get the brand name, but you should be able to find it.

if your willing to pay a little more check out the St. Croix Mojo casting rod. with that size of a reel id go with the 7 ft 6 heavy.
