Snapper Season
I'm planning on going out and catching some snapper when I come down to the gulf in late June. I know snapper season starts June 1st, but I'm reading some articles that say this will be a short snapper season. Will the season still be open the last week of june/first week of July? How do they determine the end of the season?

oke1:
The ending is on or around July 11, 2012
It should be open still for the first week of July depending upon how they count the pounds taken.
(RETIRED) mostly.
