200yrrd 20lb braid top shot with 15- 17 lb mono your choice to fill out your spool
OR just all mono in your favorite flavor..... make it some easily seen by us older guys with marginal eye sight
The first is what I put on my newly acquired 5500 spinfisher vi(new $20.00 local flea market)..... looking forward to trying it out myself along with a couple rods to see if they fish good before taking time to strip & redo
Bill..............

I like to fill mine two-thirds with braid (20-30#) and fill it the rest of the way with 16# Hi Viz Momoi.

I use 15 pound yozuri hybrid myself over the braid. Just wondering, do you guys tie a uni to uni knot to join the braid to mono or ????

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
