Fishing was amazing that time last year. I didnt notice an increace in fishermen but you need to come early. Getting onto the island gets sketchy later in the days.

Yeah, definitely take Hwy 135 (around the lake) to get to the pier that weekend.
But it hardly seems busier on the pier than other late Sept early Oct weekends. :banana:(RETIRED) mostly.

I'm really looking forward to the fall fishing. I really didn't get started pier fishing until June, just before TS Debbie came through---got a taste of hot fishing and want more. Got to make it through August first.
