In a pinch, just stroll over to J&M or most places in P'cola.
J&M usually has whole Bobos & Mullet, and the P'cola shops have Bobos, Mullet and rays.
Also post a thread asking for any of those trash fish such as Blues, Jacks and rays.

I'm going out tomorrow to Navarre, first trip of the year for surf fishing and sharking... Wish me luck Bro.

I personally got skunked, only one good run which was dropped.
No takers, not even a nibble on my live shrimp or cut mullet for regular surf rods, shrimp still alive and kicking all their lil'legs after hours of soaking.
No Pomps, Reds, blues or Specks.
One of the guys who we met up with managed a medium sized Bull shark (tagged & released),and there were three or four runs which were dropped.
They'd fished the same beach yesterday and landed a good number of sharks, a small Tiger and a few Duskys.
Great company to be, they even brought their kids, so Nathaniel had playmates.

There was another group fishing when I got there about 11am, they had a shark on, it was a nice 7'+ Spinner that I tagged for them, they landed another 6-7' Spinner later, and a really nice 9' Dusky.
They said they'd been there since early morning to catch the incoming tide and had caught some small/medium sized Tigers and a couple other of unmentioned species.
They also had a nice Gator Trout they'd caught, though they had the audacity to waste it as shark bait, shame.

Still it was sunny with a few wispy high clouds, high 60s and a light breeze, all in all a very nice day/night on the beach.
The water was brisk and felt good, light current out of the West, pretty calm swell and shore break was minimal.
Running baits without any waders or wetsuit was easy and not uncomfortable at all.

I didn't take any pics, if I get some from the crew I'll post'em later.

If you sat down and ate some of my bluefish you might change your mind about calling them trash.

If you're thinking that I think Blues are trash, then you'd be mistaken.
I'll take every Blue I can catch or have somebody throw in my cooler. Check the recipes, my family and I eat them, very good fried up.

But many others think they're trash and will throw'em back or give'em away, thus my reference.
They make great shark bait too, my PB 11' 5" Great Hammer was caught on a nice fresh Blue.
