Senator Drag Upgrade
For land based shark fishing would anyone recommend a drag upgrade for a 12/0 senator? Ive heard people suggest it but i don't think i would need much less want to hold on to 40 or 50# of drag for a couple hours. anyone know the actual rating for those size reels I've seen on specs it says 30 but they are usually less than the actual rating

Replace the stock washers with Penn HT-100 washers, grease them liberally with Cal's drag grease and that's all you need.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
