See ya Alabama State Record
The Alabama State Record for Blue Marlin got smoked twice tonight! 789lbs then 845lbs! That's some serious action today.

The current state record is 779 pounds which was caught in 1989 by Marcus Kennedy.
I feel for the folks with the 789 ;-)(RETIRED) mostly.

Sails from any pier are rare, but happen elsewhere down the Panhandle. Has GSSP had a sail seen, hooked, or brought to the pier? Has there ever been a true offshore target like a wahoo, blackfin or marlin seen or hooked from the pier?

It's hard to believe that Alabama can't get a 1000lber on record all these years
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
