Windy earlier this week but now calm. Water clarity is dark/dirty.

According to the report from the weather buoy off Orange Beach, the winds at this time are 17 to 19 knots with 3.6 foot seas. Judging from the pier cam, the water visibility is about two feet. This can all change in a matter of a few hours, and the marine forecast for this weekend is more favorable. You can get the weather buoy reports from the sidebar on this forum. Good fishing.

yes, it makes it hard sometimes to plan a trip when you look at the beach/pier cams and see flat seas, then you look at forecast and buoy info that say 3-4 ft. seas, and I agree, things down there can change awful quick.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
