Sandwiching spoons together?
Anyone ever sandwich spoons together together such as a "Little Cleo" to get greater casting distance out of them? Would this kill the action of the lure?

i don't know from experience, but i'd think the action of the lure would suffer. i wonder if golf lead tape might work better? just seems like any "adjustments" would make a spoon behave differently.

Here a YouTube link to a video of doubling up spoons that might be what you're looking for. I can't see why it wouldn't translate to salt. Everything else in the bass box seems to produce in the salt when the situation is right. I have considered putting some small spoons together for Spanish to get better casting distance.

i stand corrected. interesting video!
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
