    Sand fleas

How can I keep them alive overnight? The last time I was at the beach I never saw any sand fleas in the surf during the day...hapeened to notice them at night and caught plenty for pompano bait. Is there any way to keep them alive?

HR just throws them in a bucket of wet sand.
But don't expose them to direct sunlight or they overheat and die.

Glad you found sand fleas. Now, if we can just find pompano to eat them......

    True dat.
The numbers of pompano have not as yet responded to the record high February water temps...

This works if you leave them in the cooler in the shade and rinse them with seawater a few times a day.
