    Sabiki rod tips

Can you buy just the tip end of a sabiki rod? Like at The Rod Room or J&M. Anybody ever looked for one of these?

I looked at the eat my tackle rods and for the $50+ you pay after shipping you could go to J and M or BPS andpay $ 5-10 more to get one and not have to wait.

I can get a used Bait-Pro for $25 without the tip. These are $85 at J&M, if the tip ain't but $10 or so that'd be a killer deal.

I don't know about J&M or the Rod Room but you might try the "Mud Hole" in Central Florida. If you own an original "Bait Stick" (Sabiki Rod) made by Danko Sports Inc. you might want to try them also. I just lost my phenolic rod tip on my Sabiki Rod and plan on calling them tomorrow. I'll post a reply if successful. If anyone else knows where to find a replacement phenolic tip, please post.

I actually already talked to bait stik and those rods are made overseas and they cannot get any parts for the rods.

Call John at J&M Tackle. Last I talked to him about a Sabiki rod, he said the components were available from Merrick Tackle. He might be able to get just a tip.

I didn't pay that, I won the auction on the cheap side (41.00 total, shipped to my door)....took awhile, but I got one and still like my limber telescopic spinning rod instead for the action and cast ability
I will be getting a small pvc pipe to store the sabiki rig in though when not in use
