Rod combo questions?
The family and I will be coming down mid September. I am an avid bass fisherman but new to the pier and surf fishing. What are some good combos or rod set ups that I will need to buy. Not looking to spend a war pension but don't want to buy junk either. Thanks for any help.

If you have 6.5 or 7' medium spinning tackle with 8-10# line, you are all set for whiting, pompano, slot reds, spadefish and Spanish macs.
For Kings, get a 7-9' spinning outfit that can hold 250+ yards of 15# test. You don't want a reel stiff rod, need something with a little whip to it to sling live baits and cigar minnows.
J&M can set you up. BassPro can as well.Carl

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
