    Rod blank question

What blank/length would you choose for a live bait and snobbling king rod? I'd like to get one put together-might as well get started on it...

    I like a 8 to 8 1/2 foot medium heavy with a fast taper (15#-25# class)

RainShadow RX6 or RX7 - both have 2 piece options in the weight class you are looking for. I have not built one yet - but will before fall. They were recommended by my rod building group as a 2 piece light weight King rod.....

Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.
