Ribbon Nets?
I will be down in a couple of weeks for vacation. I hope the fishing is better for us this year than last.
My question is about the ribbon nets that folks were using on rods and reels to catch bait fish. Are those considered gill nets and are they legal to use on the pier?

On the gulf shores pier yes they are legal, but on any of the florida piers they are illegal.

You can get them at J&M Tackle in Orange Beach. The larger one for king size LY and the smaller for Spanish size.
