Respect
To my two Gulf Shores fishing friends.
I remember several years ago a lot of uproar about rules for the Pier. I am thankful for the full timers on the pier and the fact they keep the home fires burning when other fisherman are not there. By the way, some of you are excellent writers with your fishing reports. Although a lot of rule brought up by the locals make sense for you folks I am afraid that the legislatures and game enforcement look out for the vacationers and the dollars more.
The GS pier is great fun and I am thinking most folks who cross lines and do dumb thing don’t know any better.. A 5 min lecture before fishing on do ‘s and don’t would solve many problems. There are a lot of first time dads, sons and granddads on the pier who need help but are afraid to ask for help. Thanks for the news and for keeping the home fires burning. See you soon, I Hope.
with much respect.
