reasonable house/condo rental for fishing trip??
Well, I've been down to Gulf Shores on vacation the last two years and am TOTALLY hooked on the pier fishing. Fished with Pier#r the first year and he helped start this obsession! Unfortunately I live in Missouri and can't just run down there on a regular basis....My two boys have had a blast catching stuff on a sabiki rig and I have been checking this forum daily since our last vacation!
Does anybody have any suggestions of a rental that my father, father-in-law, and I could rent for a few days at a time so we could spend all day fishing? The condos on the beach are just too much for me to swing for a "guys trip".
Thanks for any suggestions.

Look at Sea Oats or gulf shores surf and racquet club on Little Lagoon. Some other condos on Little lagoon not very fancy but less costly.

Also try gulfcoastrentals.com or vrbo.com with those sites you atleast wont have to pay some or the fees that the rental agencies charge. Some of the agencies charge 30 to 40 percent more than what the owner asks for in rent. Good luck.

I've been coming here for 5 years and have had great experiences using Sunset Properties.
They have more of those at the tackle store...

Check out the Sea Oats condos in Gulf Shores. They are privately owned and you actually deal with the owner of the condo. My family and I have been staying there for five years now when we go down on our annual vacation. We love the place. They have a web site with phone numbers and prices for rentals. It is a short walk to the gulf and it is also bordered on the north side by little lagoon. If you like to fish salt water this place is hard to beat.

If you aren't bringing a princess then consider using Hotwire.com or Priceline.com and stay in a hotel off the beach in Gulf Shores or Foley. Off season rates are really cheap compared to a condo. A lot of them even have a free breakfast and internet.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
