Normal PETA BS....throw crap against the wall and hope some of it sticks. They have never let common sense or facts get in the way of their agenda. The sad part is many people will read this as an unbiased article.

Their stupidity is edified in the choice of sharks they chose for the picture in the article.

These people are crackers!
I thought PETA was an acronym for People Eating Tasty Animals ;-) LOL
"Try to relate, keep them off your plate." Just doesn't have the same ring for me ;-)
This is the one that really makes me wanna burn all my old Beatles albums...
I mean really Paul?
Try lettin them into yer belly.
I wanna relate to them by going mano e mano with them on the end of my string then slappin that puppy on the grill!
RELEASE IN THE GREASE has a nice ring to it!

The article wasn't honest. It wasn't about how to avoid shark attacks. It was anti-fishing. What's telling about the anti-fishing "angle" is that they couldn't do it in a straightforward manner. They had to use deception, which completey undermined any claim to credibility. To underline pier#r's observation, the author was so sloppy/lazy with her research that she didn't even show the picture of a shark that had TEETH with which to potentially bite a swimmer. That's another problem when it comes to sharks. All sharks are NOT the same.
If the truth were told, there's ONE SURE WAY to not get bitten by a shark. Stay out of the water! Swim in chlorinated pools only. No one has ever been bitten by a shark just walking down the street!

The levels of idiocy that some people can achieve are astounding. The author must have several doctorate degrees to get to such a rarified state. Indeed---doesn't feel comfortable swimming through the tangles of line and hooks around a pier. Dunh?
As Jerry Clower said, "She is educated far above her intelligence."

In my 75 years on this earth I have found that the more education a person has the dumber they become. I went to collage after my time in the military and had some professors who would come to class stinking of BO, hair not combed and breath that would kill a dragon. Had some that would walk around talking to cars, walls and themselves. None of them ever had a real job and everything they knew came from a book that some other triple PhD wrote.
Dance naked my friends, life is short.

"fish live in complex social groups, develop cultural traditions, can use tools, have impressive long-term memories . . ."
So . . . fish have a higher IQ than . . .
The politically incorrect one-liners just write themselves.

Hilarious SharkFest Promo Takes Bite Out of Competition Not sure how this ties in, but it's funny.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
