Wow! Thanks for the link. Quantum physics is easier to understand than this mess of bs and options. Bottom line is how hard will be screwed next year. And if it is based off a vote on this clusterf*** of choices I will go ahead and say we are screwed

Any time they put majority shares in a commercial sector it is gonna spell F-U to the private recreational fishermen.

Remember the golden rule, he who has the gold makes the rule. I don't snapper fish but a lot of people from my area go every year. They take the family and make a week long beach trip out of it. Take that away and they start vacationing in the mountains or start going to PCB or somewhere else in FL where there is a legitimate snapper season.

I know a lot of charter boats are all about getting a for-hire quota system going, but I predict if they do get it set up, within a few years all quotas will be bought out and the for-hire sector will become centralized and controlled by a few big companies, just like the commercial catch sector.

Just cull the red snapper in effort to boost declining offshore shark populations.

They aren't going to stop until we only legally catch snapper from a gaming console.

Then they'll monitor how much energy you use from using the console. It never ends with the gub'ment.

They'll rethink all of this after they see the tax revenue go down because families going elsewhere to spend their hard earned money on something else. Do they not realize how much revenue is created by recreational fishing in this state, geez!
