Popping cork and bubble rig
I see a lot of comments on popping cork and bubble rigs. The questions I have are:
1) for popping cork: Is there a specific color (orange, chartreuse) and shape (oval, cigar) that is better to use?
2) for bubble rig: What size is better (if it even matters)? I was looking at 2 inch clear.
Thanks!

I don't use a popping cork, but frankly, I don't think color matters. Most of my pier buddies that do use them, use the green cone shaped weighted ones with the wide end towards the reel to help make the splash.
i do use bubbles regularly and use the clear 2" size, half full of water for weight in casting. I've tried using the clear green color and when they're hitting, I don't think it matters either, but have better luck with the clear when they're more fussy. Hope this answers your question.
good fishing...
