When fishing from the pier for pompano, are jigs more popular than carolina rigs?
Is there a time that you would prefer one versus the other; other than when the pomps aren't biting the one you are using?

most that sight fish for pompano use jigs, both work and blind casting the Carolina might work better with fresh pealed shrimp bit....I know some will put a small sand flea on the hook of a jig too and out fish others some days....depends on the day and what the fish want

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
