Pompano or DIE!!!!
It is the number 1 target of a month long trip! Whiting are no problem thanks to Chris V., but how to catch a pompano? Always, one rod short cast and one rod long cast. Different baits. Have used a pompano jig with a piece of shrimp or shrimp bite, while using the bait rods. I'm a stupid fisherman from Nebraska and having a great time!!!

I get to take a break from hunting and plan to hit the pier tomorrow with some dead shrimp. Maybe I can shake some pompano loose with the little surf that should be generated by the SW wind---I'll settle for whiting in a hiccup, though.

Hey, I caught a decent sized speck off of May Day pier in Daphne a few days ago...anything can happen!!!!
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
