pomp in the surf
Made it down from Oklahoma this afternoon and tried my luck in front of the gulf park boardwalk. Caught one keeper pompano on a white Looney jig with pink fishbite strip. Almost got sharked bringing him in. He was torn up but still edible. Since it wasn't a pier report it seemed like general discussion.

Nice to hear the pomp bite is holding up.
