Places to fish with my kids...

We live over in Pcola, but we do camp over in gs sometimes. Looking forward to heading over there next weekend. Want to take my kids fishing, maybe catch some reds, they are tired of pinfish (you guys with kids know what a chore it is to fish with a few kids, but it can be rewarding)
Not really into pier fishing, looking for somewhere to fish from shore. I don't want to trespass on anybody's spots or property.
Not familiar with the fishing in gs, so I really don't know where to go. Appreciate anything to help me out. My kids say thanks too.

    East side of Perdido Pass.
They can have FUN all day with jigs, spoons, bubble rigs and bottom rigs ;-)

The little lagoon is a good spot to hang out and wet a line, might not be enough action to entertain the kids but they'll have the beach n sand in the meantime.

Keep a close eye on the kids because the current really hauls butt during tide changes. Lagoon Pass too.
Both places are great with the kids along, just be aware of the currents.

We did stay at the Caribe last summer, you can fish on the docks out back, no lights, and the current is crazy.
Is there places I can park and fish little lagoon?
    Thx
    John

Yep, there is a parking lot at Lagoon Pass bridge. You can fish the lagoon or walk under the bridge to the Gulf side and surf fish.

Perdido Pass should be heating up soon might be worth a try for flounder and reds with live bull minnows or live shrimp on bottom on the seawall

The fishing isn't too good in the parking lot anyways!

On a serious note, I've fished there quite a few times and never been told anything, never noticed any signs.

    LOL!

I believe 'flip' confused the situation at Perdido Pass with Little Lagoon.

Little Lagoon is 3 miles west of Hwy 59 on West Beach Blvd.
You can turn the kids loose with some hand nets to catch all the baitfish you need ;-)
Like Fin said though, watch out for those drop-offs and swift currents though!
