    Pier Rule Question

Rules say Reels over 4.0 are Prohibited. Where is the guidance on what 4.0 might mean when assessing your equipment?
    thanks in advance

For example: a Penn 113 conventional (trolling/bottom fishing) reel is 4/0.

What size is a Shimano TLD20 considered to be?

Basically it is a 4/0 (Shimano)

The line capacity of a Penn 113 (4/0) is 440 yards of 30# mono,
a Shimano TLD 20 is advertised as 450 yards of 30# mono.
So based on 'technicalities' a TLD could be considered larger than a 4/0.

But considering Shimano's reputation for exaggerating the line capacity of their reels this may not be the case.

Plus looking at the weight of the reels: the Penn 4/0 weighs 28 ounces, the TLD 20 only weighs 23.6 ounces.
That would lend to the side it is not "larger than a 4/0".

David are you still working at Bass Pro Shops. Was wondering if the store in Spanish Fort has any of the Pro Qualifier Gore-t rain suits left.

Call the store, if it's in- stock have them hold a set for you.
They've held items for me, great customer service.
    Oh yeah, they're on Sale!
