Pier or Pass?
Seems like with the water all stained, things have been slow on the pier, has anyone been fishing Perdido Pass? I haven't fished there in forever, and wondering it might be a better bet than the pier right now.
Any thoughts?

May have to go much further east to find clearer water. Pensacola or Navarre may be better, if not now they may clear sooner. They ain't GS pier, though....

I am partial to the variety of fish that can be caught at the pier this time of year.
The pass can be good (or even better) at times, but you often have to deal with almost constant boat traffic.
But not today as this quiet three minute walk by Micdesigns shows...

Given the forecast for southwest winds all week, I don't hold out much hope for clear water any time soon.

The power must be off at the GSPPier and parts of Gulf Shores because all the cams are down (except Pink Pony).
Anyway, seas (@ 42012) decreased to less than 3 feet overnite and the water doesn't look bad this am from these pics by Steve Jones taken from the beach at the GSPPavillion...

Hopefully it will clear somewhat today, i'll be down tomorrow night thru the weekend, been too long and need to refill my freezer lol
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
