Pier Closing Party
Seems like there should be some sort of "Going Away Gathering " on the 14th to wish GSP a speedy completion; maybe some before photos for after!

If the work takes more than a month over schedule, they might as well rip my heart out---but wait until after deer season is over.
On second thought, I could go to Florida, stay with in-laws and fish the Tampa Bay bridge. Yes, let's hold off on the heart-ripping thing. No need to get all upset over something that may never happen. As a matter of fact, I should delete this whole post, but since I went to the trouble to write it...…..

We could have either a party before or after. I'm kinda in favor of a Grand Reopening party.

When the pier opened, there's no telling how many thousand flounder were caught the first week, the kids and I took home way over a hundred fishing for them part time. When it was shut down due to the spill, they were stacked in there pretty good again. If we have a late March or later opening you best be prepared with live bait the first couple days because it won't last long. You'd have to beat me with a tire tool to keep off of there the day it reopens.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
