Perdido Pass Where to purchase Live Shrimp

I'm staying in a condo near Perdido Pass. I would like to know where I can purchase live shrimp near by?

    thanks

Any of the bait shops should have them, but you'll have to go early. The closest one to you will be either the Caribe Marina, or Zeke's. There's also J&M and the little one over off 59 across from McDonalds.

J&M has the best shrimp. Their holding and filtration system makes the livelier and they live longer as long as they aren't allowed to overheat in your bucket.

There is also Top Gun Tackle in the Winn Dixie center a couple of miles west of the pass.

That's a negative rw, that baitshop moved to The Wharf.
As noted above the closest to the pass now is Top Gun, but J&M livies are hard to beat ;-)

Give them a call. They will divulge their secrets. Sometimes they have one or the other, sometimes both.

But minnows and shrimp in the same bucket is not a good mix. At least I think I'm correct. Or maybe I over heated today at that four letter place I go to daily

I have used both J&M and Top Gun since Frith's is no more. Coming from the west side of the lagoon pass, I always found myself running late and rushing to beat closing time. There is a funny and quite embarrassing story of searching for bait my first trip to GS..but I'll save that one for another day. It took several years before I could even think about the episode - but now I laugh as hard as everyone else when we bait the first hook of every trip.
Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.

You are absolutely correct, and an insulated bucket (or two) is a good thing this time of year.
